Each post is composed of steel spheres, going from larger at the bottom to smaller at the top, curving outwards from center. At the center is a large round base that floats slightly above the floor, enough for a cord to light up a bulb in the center, alongside a hand blown clear glass orb that sits in a four prong setting adjacent to the bulb. At the right viewing angle, it creates an eclipse effect with the glass orb. Truly a remarkable and distinct piece, has a warm patina throughout. Round glass top. Overall measures 30in diameter x 16.5in tall. Excellent vintage condition. See less
