This piece would be a challenge to make in current times. The lid, knob and the threaded fastener bears the Sheffield sterling silver assay marks: the crown and passant lion stamps, 'H' date stamp of 1875, Queen's head duty stamp and JFF & FF makers mark of John Frederic Fenton & Frank Fenton, thus the specific manufacture year of this item is 1875.
