A rare pair of bent beech armchairs, the result of the collaboration between Thonet and Jacob & Josef Kohn, originally presented at the St. Louis World’s Fair in 1904. These examples, perfectly restored, represent one of the most refined expressions of the Viennese Art Nouveau style of the early 20th century.

The sinuous and light lines, typical of the Austrian design school, combine with a solid and elegant structure in steam-bent beech. Both pieces bear the attribution mark and are today considered rare museum examples.
