First created in the 1970s, the Kaamoskivi embodies the raw, elemental energy of Lapland’s arctic wilderness, blending natural materials and expressive form in a truly Nordic modern statement piece.

Handcrafted from ceramic infused with sand collected from the shores of Lake Kitkajärvi, each Kaamoskivi is one-of-a-kind. Its rounded, organic “lump-like” shape—often likened to a Boston cake—and deep cobalt blue glaze give it a grounded yet sculptural presence. Designed to hold six candles, this model (kuusihaarainen) is both functional and deeply atmospheric, evoking the soft glow of polar night.
