Vintage Italian Venetian Rococo Revival Mirror, gilt wood and flat mirror from the mid-50s - 60s.
A classic Venetian shape in a gilt wood mirror for use in many areas of the house. Symmetrically designed scrolling over a patinated gilt finish. The size is 9" wide at the shoulders and 13" tall. Attached hanging loop on the reverse. The gilt frames and smart style of Italy in the 1950s made a lasting impression on Americans who returned with these items for every corner of every room.
