A wall mounted soap and cup holder from the “San-O-La” company, New York, circa 1902.
San-O-La was the brand name for a line of heavy nickel-plated, solid brass bathroom fixtures, manufactured by the Art Brass Company based at 299 East 134th Street, New York City, in the early 1900s. The company produced every accessory that your early 20th century bathroom could need – soap dishes, glass shelving, towel bars, cup holders, toilet paper holders, and robe hooks. Their products were installed in hotels and government buildings worldwide. No longer in business, antique San-O-La fixtures are much sought after.
