Pair of large chandeliers designed by Uno & Östen Kristiansson designed 1951 for the Swedish company Luxus Vittsjö. They made made in a walnut frame carrying twelve arms with opal glass shades which distribute the light evenly in all directions when switched on, through the lightly decorated opaline shades. Kristiansson lighting design emphasizeson sleek design and excellent craftsmanship. In 1950 Swedish designers and brothers Uno & Östen Kristiansson founded their own manufacturing company, Luxus, in Vittsjö, Sweden. They were prolific designers with a clear design aesthetic that is now known as Scandinavian modern. The chandeliers are in excellent refurbished condition, rewired with braided cords that allow a drop of 150 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
