This original mid-century armchair was designed by Dieter Rams in the 1960s and manufactured by Vitsœ in Germany. Dieter Rams is considered one of the most influential designers of the 20th century.

The modular design of the 620 series allows for versatile configurations and is an outstanding example of German design and craftsmanship, as well as an icon of minimalism. This armchair was designed with white plastic shells and beige suede. The attractive backing makes it ideal for freestanding use.

The white shells, made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, have been cleaned and show slight signs of age-related wear, such as small chipping on the edges, which have been gently retouched. The seat construction, featuring a spring core base, is in good condition. The loose seat cushion with beige suede cover has been filled with new down and latex flakes. The seat cushion shows some heavier signs of wear on the rear right corner, but these are barely noticeable. The suede has a beautiful patina with fading and stains that give the chair a unique charm.

The seat cushion shows some stronger signs of wear on the back right corner - hardly noticable.
