They are … Read more This is a set of 4 of mid-century vintage car prints by the famed French illustrator, Geo Ham. They are part of a series from a French publication that commemorated the 1956 fiftieth anniversary of the Automobile Club of the West. Geo Ham was commissioned to illustrate the history of the 24 hour race at Le Mans for this commemorative. Geo Ham was a painter of speed who used watercolor techniques to enhance the sense of motion. His transportation illustrations and poster art are highly collectible throughout France and throughout the world. His illustrations glorified speed, the greatest attribute of motor racing. These vintage prints are in excellent condition with good color. Signed by Geo Ham. Each is 9 by 12.25 inches in size. Comes with acid free backing. As a grouping these make for dramatic wall decor for the sports car enthusiast, the sport car racer, the vintage car collector. Great for office decor, man cave, boy's room, etc. See less
