Gorgeous Victorian Davenport circa 1860
Burr Walnut with 4 Drawers to the side and a lift up pen holder on top
Finished with claret tooled leather acting as a writing surface
One side has all the drawers that open for more storage
This desk owes its name to a Captain Davenport who was the first to commission the design, from Gillows of Lancaster, near the end of the 18th century.
