The Brass sconces feature draped chain into a basket style. Each have three arms with black paper shades. At the top are three brass leaves. At the bottom there are metal tassels and a wood pull chain knob. These are USA standards hard-wired at the back, but with the pull chain switch they can be wired for socket power. The pull chain unit is marked 125V, indicating that they are older than 1952, when US standards were switched to 120V. Both are safe under current electrical standards. The black shades are slightly different in size, which is not noticeable unless hung exactly side-by-side as shown. They use three candelabra style bulbs each. JBN
