WINTER SKYLINE

A nostalgic and subdued modernist cityscape that captures the quiet hush of a snow-blanketed town beneath a pale winter sky, executed in oil onto canvas and dated 1970.
The composition presents an elevated perspective over a geometric spread of rooftops, their forms simplified into broad, angular planes. The steeple of a distant monument anchors the skyline, rising into a misty atmosphere that suggests early morning or dusk.
Rendered in oil, the artist has used a restrained, muted palette dominated by subdued shades of blues, purples, yellows, and reds.
