A gorgeous, unique set of four plates from czechoslovakia, with beautiful hand-painted Art Deco gold and green details, curving edges and a lovely classic design. PL is the trademark of Pfeiffer & Lowenstein, one of the three most important Czechoslovak porcelain factories of the late 19th century. The company would be moved to Austria during or shortly after the war, but the markings on these plates date them to pre-1930. This particular set features four matching saucers or small dessert plates, ready to display, with beautiful geometric designs and outstretched 'wings'. This set would look lovely at the sweetheart table of a wedding, in a China cabinet, or simply for everyday use!
Saucers measures 6" across - no chips, cracks, or wear other then very minor smudges and the tiniest bit of spider-webbing to the backside of the glaze.
