This vintage Italian porcelain trinket box is crafted in the Capodimonte style, known for its detailed high-relief decoration and hand-painted finishes. Cylindrical in shape with a hinged lid, the box features a raised design of cherubs—or putti—set against a pastel color palette of pinks, greens, and blues. Gold accents highlight the intricate detailing, adding a refined decorative touch.
Originating from the artistic traditions of the Capodimonte porcelain factory founded in 18th-century Naples, this box reflects the continued influence of that style in 20th-century Italian decorative arts. The underside has informative markings, including “Italy,” indicating its origin. Ideal for holding jewelry or small keepsakes, this piece combines collectible appeal with functional use and traditional European craftsmanship.
