The special glow of this vase, which is characteristic of Laque Line pieces, derives from the internally hand-applied lacquer technique that uses a mix of colors and foil, a process that gives depth to the piece. The piece shimmer, with purple, blue, green, gold, rust, rose, and other colors skillfully merged to create a dynamic multi-colored effect.

The organic shape of the Vases, with a round base, wide center and wide lip, is typical of other Laque pieces. It is almost sculptural and shows off the configuration of colors underneath the surface of the glass.

The Vase is in excellent condition. It must have been used, but there are no chips or cracks that we can discern other than a tiny chip on the outer rim of the lip that is hard to see or photograph.

The original Laque Line label on the base of piece states: “Unique piece made by hand - Made in France.” Factory logo is part of the label.

Circumference: at base is 26; at widest mid-point is 38”; at rim is 33.
