When we found this piece, it was painted orange and looked more like a pumpkin than something you would put … Read more When we found this piece, it was painted orange and looked more like a pumpkin than something you would put inside your home. But it had potential -- but only with a total renovation! We were in a teal chinoiserie mood when we did this bombe chest -- along with the small cabinet and Art Nouveau club chair show in the last two pictures. (Those items are also available on Chairish in separate listings.) The actual hue is more of a verdis gris color. The drawers feature a crane and leaves on a gold background, and parcel gilt highlights embellish the edges. We decided to re-use the original brass drawer pulls that came with the chest. This piece would work well as a side table, in an entry hall or living room, or even as a nightstand in a bedroom. It measures 24 inches wide by 18 inches deep, and it is 24 inches tall.
