It will easily look splendid for well more than another century. The patina on the walnut frame is spectacular. Because the original upholstery had seen better days, our master upholsterer has performed his usual miracle. For the inside of the chair, we chose an exquisite Asian print featuring classical themes of dragons and cranes This fine fabric came from our source in Tokyo where we are able to find the highest quality print material. The exterior sides and reverse are covered in a matching gold velvet. As you can see from the pictures, the result is a spectacular show-stopper of a chair. The chair measures 33 inches high at the crest with a width of 30 inches and depth of 33 inches. The seat height is 19 inches. The two hand-painted, matching side tables that are staged with the chair in the last two photographs are also available in separate Chairish listings. See less
