19th century Louis Philippe commode or chest of drawers from France in walnut The entire case is made up from wonderfully grained book matched walnut veneer. Constructed of four drawers, raised on typical Louis Phillipe bracket feet, and topped with the original black Belgian marble. As with most of these commodes, there is age cracks on the sides of the chest and old worm holes.
