This rectangular-shaped wall decoration has been created with a vintage wood frame, carved in a rope motif trim, which has been fitted with a newer, artisan created center glass which is minimally adorned with a single silver églomisé star or sunburst positioned within the top center. The French term églomisé, dates back to pre-Roman eras, and is the technique by which a design and gilding is applied to the rear side of the glass, with artistic detail being visible from the front. The carved wood frame has a silver color, with hints of red which show from beneath in some areas. This vintage starburst mirror stands approximately 4.5 feet in height. See less
