A late 19th century Chinese grain storage bucket featuring a warm, naturally aged red-toned hardwood body with original iron hardware and hand-painted calligraphy indicating it's region of origin being Taiyuan, in Shanxi China. Traditionally used for holding rice or grains, this 8.5” tall piece offers authentic surface wear and tool marks that reflect its utilitarian past.
