Design Plus Gallery presents a Glass Pear Hand Blown Pear Shape by Lucy Chamberlain. The pear has colors of matte gray, amethyst, with golden/metallic tones in abundance. Truly breathtaking. The pear is in hood condition with minima to no surface wear found.
"Lucy Chamberlain has resided in the Los Angeles area since 1980. She studied glass forming at several Southern California schools including California State University Fullerton where she earned a Masters of Fine Arts Degree. She is a founding member of Ten Women Venice Gallery, an artist's cooperative, and the first woman to teach hot glass at California State University Fullerton. "Through my process I transport to places otherwise unavailable to me; the ocean floor, touching anemones and urchins, the inside of a Malaysian orchid, the garden of the goddess. Against the harshness and strife of the world I throw beauty, the combatant at my disposal"
