A striking and large vintage Chinese globular vase (天球瓶), showcasing exquisite famille-rose enamels on a vivid coral red ground. The vase features a classic longevity-themed scene with the revered Shouxing (寿星, Shoulao), the God of Longevity, riding beside his deer and surrounded by a joyous group of children bearing peaches and scrolls—traditional symbols of long life and prosperity in Chinese culture.
The reverse side of the vase is adorned with a short eulogistic inscription in elegant running-script (xingshu) calligraphy, further enriching the cultural and artistic depth of this piece.
Crafted in the style of Qing Dynasty imperial porcelain from the Qianlong period, the vase bears an apocryphal Qianlong red seal mark at the base. It was acquired in the 1980s directly from a ceramic studio in Jingdezhen, the historic "Capital of Porcelain."
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age.
