This is a 1938 French Art Deco fashion print that is RARE to find. It originally came from a haute couture French fashion magazine of the itme. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. It showcases an elegant full length sable fur evening coat with an upright standing collar and rounded trail draping. The design has classic Art Deco elements with its elongated styling. It was a design by a leading Parisian furrier. The image is pure elegance! It speaks to its elite clientele who sought the latest in chic fashion. The fashion illustrator used a rare metaillic gold ink which shimmers on the page. Metallic inks were used in fashion illustrations during the Art Deco years and were later abandoned due to their expense and fraility. This design is in PRISTINE condition.
