Delicate cabriole legs terminating in hoof feet and beautifully carved at the knee support a lower shelf inlaid in a geometric pattern of alternating beech and fruitwood bordered in layers of cross-banded detail - a pattern repeated at the top. Scalloped serpentine aprons, the lower gently flared, are outlined in hand-carved beading. A timeless piece of great craftsmanship and character. See less
