This striking antique sideboard, likely of French origin and dating to the late 1800s, showcases a deep ebonized finish with finely hand painted gilt detailing, fluted pilasters, and classical scrollwork. The stepped center section is flanked by two glass front display cabinets, while the arched central door opens to a spacious storage compartment. One glass panel is missing from the right-facing side, which shouldn't be too difficult to replace. Some of the decorative metal trim is missing, and the top surfaces show noticeable finish loss, scuffs, and surface marks. Additional edge wear is visible along the base. The green felt lining on shelves and cabinet backs shows wear but is intact. It comes with two random keys that work only as handles to open the doors, the locks and keyholes aren't in working condition. Structurally sound and full of presence. less
