Retaining its original paper label and impressed maker's mark, this is a piece of traditional Nanbu Tekki cast ironware made by Iwachu, a respected Japanese foundry based in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture. Both sculptural and functional, the piece has a bold architectural presence that lends itself beautifully to brutalist, wabi-sabi, or Japanese interiors.

It measures 8 3/4" in diameter and approx 2" in height. It is in very good vintage condition as shown, with mild age appropriate wear. See less
