A lovely matched pair of Rookwood Pottery candle holders dates to 1919 with a soft matte pink glaze, characteristic of the Arts and Crafts movement. The elegant low-profile form (shape number 2472) includes delicate floral reliefs.
Each piece is clearly marked on the base with the iconic Rookwood flame logo (19 flames), the RP monogram, Roman numerals XIX (for 1919), and the shape number 2472.
