This is a Very Nice Antique American Primitive Stoneware Batter Jug - Pitcher. Circa Late 1800s. It has a Coffee Color Simi Gloss Glaze. It is Embossed with a 3 - Possibly Denoting a 3 Quarts. It still has its Original Heavy Gauge Steel Wire and Wood Carry Handle. I purchased this piece on one of my recent Antique Picking Adventures in the Northeastern Ohio Region. A perfect addition to a Rustic Setting - Country Kitchen, Etc.It has a few Small Surface - Glaze Chips in the Top Rim and Hanger Bracket Area from many years of use. No Cracks - No Repairs..
It Measures 8 1/2 inches Tall ( Not Including handle ) x 7 inches Wide 8 1/2 inches Long.
