Palm Leaf Torchière or Floor Lamp in the manner of Serge Roche. This is pure Hollywood Regency glamor at its finest. Our Serge Roche inspired Floor Lamp is finished in pure white plaster and is not a painted surface. The Serge Roche style Torchière is beautifully constructed and quite heavy. Our Old Plank finishing department did have to perform some cosmetic restoration, but there were no structural defects requiring attention. Having had the pleasure of admiring this Serge Roche looking Floor Lamp one begins to think in terms of sculpture in lieu of just being another Floor Lamp. We all noticed as the days passed by, they really began to grow on us and you begin to appreciate their beauty and the simplicity that the plaster finish gives. United States, 1970-1979.
Condition: Good. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. No structural repairs were required, only cosmetics.
**Diameter provided was taken at the top. The diameter of the base is 17.5".
