Antique 19th C Black Forest Hand Carved Smoker's Stand/Cigar Caddy Dog W/Barrel & Bucket. Carved Dogs on Cigar Caddy's are quite rare. More popular were bears or birds. This Lovely Hand Carved Swiss Black Forest Caddy is c1880s. This smoker's stand, stores the cigars in the barrel and matches or pipe in the broken bucket. The Details are wonderful. This Proud Collared Dog stands guard - Did the big dog "destroy" the bucket just to hold the pipe? Who knows.
Measures 3 3/4" Tall x 6" W x 4 1/4" D
