Crafted in Italy well over one hundred years ago, the black ebonized wooden frame of this striking mirror reflects 17th and 18th Century Dutch style. Its surface is intricately detailed and textured with carved patterns of indentations and embossments. The mirror’s size and commanding presence make it well suited to hang above a fireplace, in a hallway, or over a bed.
Good vintage condition, with 2 minor chips and light foxing to the miror glass. One corner of the frame is slightly lifting, and there are natural wood splits that have occurred over time; does not impact the usability or structure of the mirror.
