All high quality, well made milk glass with no chips, cracks or flaws found. The tallest one, at 7.75" wide and 4.75 " high is flared and would make an excellent "resting" bowl for a small loaf of bread dough. The medium one is a thick, sturdy bowl- significantly thicker than average. At 6.5 x 6.5 x 4 its a nice size. I would be using this to hold lemons, limes and such in the kitchen. Throw in some fresh cut mint and some cucumbers for a fresh look that sliced up would make a couple refreshing drinks. The largest is a true mixing bowl- it went along with one of the original electric stand mixers- one that alas, I don't have. The bowl is 9.5 x 9.25 x 4.5. The bottom says glasbake for sunbeam. This would absolutely be in constant display. See less
