Handmade of the distinctive white clay found in the region, this precious vase features an elaborate fantastical design depicting local wildlife and plants, and also variations of said species based on dreams and the creativity of the artist. Using a fine tool, the design is made and the piece is fired, bringing the artists vision to live. We see fauna and fantastic flora, and the vessel itself is an abstract volcano, which is observed when viewed from above. See less
