The Schooner yacht named America was a 19th century racing yacht and was the first winner of the America's Cup international sailing trophy. The original ship was built by the Georges Steers co. in New York in 1851. The model is built to a scale of 3/16".
The model was designed by the Zakoske LTD co. and resides inside a glazed case that can be lifted off of the base with ease for easy cleaning.
In great condition.
