The … Read more Discover the iconic Rietveld Zigzag Chair, a masterpiece of Dutch design that has been enriching interiors worldwide since 1934. The chair, originally designed for the Rietveld Schroder House, is a tribute to the art movement De Stijl and shows Rietveld's ingenuity in wood joints with his unique dovetail and miter joints.

This iconic chair was designed in 1932 for the Rietveld Schroder in Utrecht. Very important chair in modern design history.
This particular set was made by a carpenter in the late 1990s. They are made of solid elm in the same way Groenekan (carpenter of Gerrit Rietveld) made these chairs for Metz and co and later for specific clients.
