the series was born in 1972 designed by designer mario bellini for c&b.

it was a series of revolutionary padded items for the time, which appeared like a series of large cushions placed casually together.

design with soft and round shapes.

the launch of this successful series took place with an advertising campaign by oliviero toscani featuring model donna jordan, andy warhol's muse.

in 1979 the series was awarded the compasso d'oro, the highest honor in italian design.

the milanese architect and designer mario bellini began his activity in the 1960s and created furnishings that made the history of design, such as the divisumma calculators, le bambole, the amanta series, the brionvega rr 130 and many other icons.

produced by b&b italia, a company founded by cesare cassina and pier ambrogio busnelli in 1966 as c&b and then changed to b&b in 1973 when busnelli purchased cassina's shares.

the sofa is one of the first editions and is in an excellent state of conservation as it has been reupholstered with a quality double-weave brown and orange fabric.

there is the original b&b label on the side and the label under the base which has faded over time. This piece has an attribution mark,
