The grand "ottoman sofa" was … Read more Monumental bespoke mohair velvet tufted sectional banquette sofa custom designed by George Smith, London UK. The grand "ottoman sofa" was commissioned by Samantha Todhunter Design for an estate in San Francisco, CA. The 14 foot long sofa is designed in three sections with removable bolsters in the middle allowing for a smaller two piece sofa. The whimsical designed hardwood frame features large oversized bolster pillow arms and is upholstered with an opulent powder blue mohair velvet. The sofa is skirted with chic fringe and supported by hidden turned legs with a black lacquered finish. Sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The custom sofa is one of two constructed for the estate. The other sofa is a smaller 2 piece and is also available.

Provenance: From a historic 1916 Julia Morgan designed mansion in Presidio Heights San Francisco, CA. The sofa is located at our California warehouse ready for delivery and installation.
