A LARGE and unique ginger jar!!! Stands nears one foot tall!

Gump’s offers very limited, exclusive to Gumps, Asian lines of porcelain ginger jars and lamps.

This hand-painted Chinese export ginger jar was made exclusively for Gump’s San Francisco, a legendary purveyor of Asian artistry and luxury goods. The jar features a lush garden tableau with robed figures in traditional dress, surrounded by chrysanthemum blooms and gilded latticework. Vibrant enamels in coral, turquoise, and jade are elevated by delicate gold embellishments, capturing the refinement of Kutani-style porcelain.

The domed lid is equally ornate, with floral cartouches and fine gold tracery crowning the composition. A standout piece for collectors and decorators.
