17th. Century Indo-Portuguese vargueno table cabinet, c.1650
Rectangular in shape, of hand carved wood and painted in a dark blue and brown, which is worn and weathered in places giving a wonderful antique patina. The front hinges down to reveal 6 painted and bone inlaid drawers, each with a string pull. Hand made dovetail joints throughout. Original lock mechanism, no key.
