Crafted in Spain circa 1860, the piece features a richly carved oak base topped with a substantial slab of Breccia Pernice marble, prized for its warm brown, taupe, and cream tones with intricate veining. The surface is finished with a beveled edge and soft bullnose profile, offering both durability and elegance.
The scalloped apron houses three side-by-side drawers, each adorned with deeply carved rosettes and stylized floral motifs, and dressed with original iron drop pulls. Boldly scrolled ox yoke legs are hand-carved and connected by a forged wrought iron stretcher with a central rosette medallion, providing both structural integrity and decorative flair.
A light oak finish enhances the natural grain of the wood, while the richly veined marble adds a sophisticated contrast.
