The support rod is 1/2 inch copper pipe from the same home with a lamp rod on the inside the copper pipe. This allows for the piece to come apart for storage and shipping. Perfect for outdoor use as well as a decorative piece indoors. The horse measurements are 18 inches long by 9 inches high the copper thickness is 1/32 of a inch thick. See less
