Incredibly rare ceramic bull bowl attributed to Albert Diato, France or Peter Volkous, California. Rich gold brown exterior glaze on a scratched, carved tactile brutalist large form. Three legged design with considerable detailing on all sides. Fully glazed on the interior with Cressey, Maxwell style marbled glazing. Display ready piece showing only minor wear commensurate with age - loss, touch ups to edge and one profesional repair to horn. Display ready sculpture object perfect for mid century collections.
