An Italian Renaissance style carved walnut octagonal top pedestal table. C. 19th century.
The top with a carved border above a frieze carved with flower head roundels, the square pedestal support with paneled sides and roundel medallions, the corners with carved caryatid canted terminals ending in carved claw feet, on a molded plinth base.
This handsome Italian pedestal table has patina and attractive carved details. The supports appear from the images to be caryatids with their human masks.
