Swedish modernist rocking chair, model 513, designed by Göran Malmvall for the manufacturer Karl Andersson & Söner, Huskvarna. Dating from the late 1940s, it represents a later example of the "sportstugemöbler" (sport lodge furniture) style, popularized in the 1920s by architects like Axel-Einar Hjorth. Crafted from pine, it features a solid seat and a sculptural backrest. Complete with original cushions upholstered in a floral pattern. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
