Design Plus Gallery presents "Love and Life" a signed original oil painting by Ushangi Kumelashvili (1948-2024). Not one to paint ideological images, this abstract image is of a day, a location and individual figures presented together. Good condition.
"Ushangi Kumelashvili (1948-2024) is an internationally recognized, prize-winning artist and sculptor, born and raised in Soviet Georgia, educated in Moscow. Studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts’ Faculty of Fine Arts from 1967 to 1973. Followingthat, he began working at the Telavi Drama Theater. Since the 1970s, he has regularly participated in exhibitions. He had his first solo exhibition in 1994 at the National Gallery of Pictures. His work has been exhibited and sold in Western Europe, China, Russia and the United States."
