A rare matched pair of 1930s Louis Rastetter & Sons "Solid Kumfort" folding chairs, retaining their original maker's labels from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Rastetter patented an innovative folding chair mechanism during the 1910s-1920s, and these streamlined chairs reflect the transition into the Art Deco era with graceful curved frames and geometric cutouts. Their vibrant original red finish and compact folding design make them equally suited for Art Deco, Industrial, Machine Age, Eclectic, Vintage Americana, or Cottage interiors.
