The sparkling and glittering palwa chandeliers are hanging in the residence of the empress marie-therese of austria, in the sultan of brunei’s palaces, in the palaces of the kings of saudi arabia and of the sheikhs of the gulf states but also in the white house in washington and in the bellevue castle in berlin, in first-class hotels and embassies. Manufactured by palwa (palme und walter), germany in the 1960s. Design: gaetano sciolari. Model: orbit. Execution: round. Measures: diameter 13" in., height 13.7" in., height incl. Chain 73" in. Adjustability: the chain can be shortened easily. Lighting: takes one large edison e27 base screw bulb. Wattage: we recommend up to 40w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v. Condition: very good vintage condition. Similar oval chandelier in stock: lu234035857233 wiring: the lamp has been tested with us american light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required.
