Things were marked beginning in 1890 and it’s so beautifully done and heavy that I feel it’s old. Also the base has some discoloration on the edge,a light rust color, which is a surefire way to tell age. It takes about 100 years for rust to show up in clay. This vase would look gorgeous in a collection of celadon, the height is unusual, which I think would look beautiful. It is tall 12.5” x 4.5” and would be a good size to mix with. See less
