Inspired by the great Flemish tapestries of yore, this wide midcentury tapestry was woven in Belgium. Love the vibrance of the colors and perfect. Side edges are raw and bottom edge is lined with fringe. Back is marked "Made in Belgium."
This intricate tapestry depicts a Japanese garden scene, with elegantly dressed women in kimonos engaged in leisurely activities in a setting typical of their region.
