Henri Matisse ( 1869 - 1954 ) the French born artists is known for both his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. His mastery of the expressive language of color and drawing won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art.

The rare out of print framed Modernist museum poster print measures 28 1/4" W X 35 3/4" H X 1 3/8" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern slim profile detail museum box style matte eggshell finish black metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent condition. The poster print is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, use, light signs of handling, and some light to moderate visible surface wear.
